Reservations/Deposits

You are required to make a deposit at the time of booking for your reservation. This can be made by debit/credit card. A cheque is acceptable for deposit, but must arrive 10 working days before your arrival to allow funds to clear.

Your room(s) are reserved for you until 7pm. If you wish to arrive later please ensure that you make prior arrangements with the management.

Pricing

The accommodation prices quoted are per person per night/s for B&B or BB&EM. Prices are subject to availability. The Lyndawn reserve the right to review its prices from time to time.

Methods of payment

Payment by debit/credit card or cash made in full on arrival. We do not accept cheques for payment due to the clearing time.

Cancellation policy

Deposits are non-refundable and full booking charge will apply for all cancellations within 30 days of arrival. No shows will incur your card used for deposit being charged with the full amount of booking.

We recommend that you arrange holiday insurance in the event of cancellation.

Cancellation/amendments

No refunds will be made in the event of early departure. In the event of cancellation or curtailment the person named at the time of booking will be liable to pay the total cost of the booking. The outstanding balance will be charged to the debit/credit card. If you fail to arrive for whole or part of booking you will still be responsible for the total cost of the booking.

If we are forced to cancel your booking for reasons beyond our control we will give you as much notice as possible and refund any sums already paid. We will not have any further responsibilities to you.

Smoking policy

We are a non-smoking hotel and as such we reserve the right to request that smoking is not allowed in any area of the hotel. (This includes bedrooms and all public areas). Anyone found smoking in any area will be asked to leave with no refunds and a deep cleaning charge will be made of £150 which will be taken from the debit/credit card used for deposit/payment.

We have a small patio outside where you may smoke.

Child policy

Children under 12yrs are charged at a discounted rate when sharing a room with parents. If a separate room is required then no discount is given. Children under 16 must not be left unsupervised in bedrooms or any public area of the hotel at any time.

Meals

Meal times are as follows:
Breakfast: 8.30am to 9.00am.
Dinner: 17.00 (5pm).
No allowance can be made for meals not taken.

Licenced premises

Only food and drink purchased on the premises may be consumed on the premises. For health and safety reasons, no food or drink is to be consumed in the rooms. Only tea/coffee as supplied by us is allowed.

Check-in/out

Rooms are normally available by 2pm on day of arrival
Check out by 10am on day of departure. Failure to vacate by this time could result in an additional charge up to the cost of 1 nights’ accommodation. This will be charged to the debit/credit card used for deposit.

Guest property

We cannot accept responsibility for the guests’ property. We provide a free wall safe for guests’ use.

Guest conduct

The person named at the time of booking will be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of any hotel property/equipment damaged by themselves or members of their party during their stay. The outstanding balance may be charged to the debit/credit card that was used for initial deposit. The management reserve the right to terminate/amend or curtail any contract where the conduct of any person is found to cause any detriment to the wellbeing or comfort of any guest or member of staff. Should such action take place then the full booking cost will remain payable and there will be no refunds.

Same sex bookings/groups

We do not accept same sex or large group bookings. We only cater for families and couples. Therefore by accepting our terms and conditions when making your booking you are confirming that you are a family or couple. If when you check in it is obvious you are not a family or couple or family group you will not be allowed to check in and the full booking fee will still be payable. This may be taken from the debit/credit card used for deposit The only exception to this is if you are a gay couple as we are gay friendly.
